Andrew Joyce is a seasoned maritime professional with over 35 years of hands-on experience in commercial fishing, vessel ownership, operations, and brokerage across Alaska and the West Coast.
From captaining vessels in Alaska and West Coast to brokering complex deals and managing major vessel conversions, Andrew brings unmatched practical expertise to his consulting work with private equity firms and international fleets. He currently advises on large-scale salmon aquaculture and Antarctic krill operations while overseeing shipyard projects across multiple continents.
Andrew provides high-level strategic consulting to private equity firms and international clients. His work includes subcontracting with American Industrial Partners (New York), advising two Norwegian companies on large-scale salmon aquaculture and Antarctic krill fishing operations, and conducting international shipyard inspections and new-build oversight in Turkey, Spain, Norway, South Africa, and Chile.
Widely respected for his deep technical knowledge, strong negotiation skills, and practical problem-solving, Andrew has successfully brokered numerous vessels, permit, and IFQ transactions. He has also led complex marine conversion projects, including transforming a 150’ Offshore Supply Vessel into a fully operational salmon tender.
